About Maura Mulligan

Maura Mulligan was born in County Mayo, Ireland. She teaches céilí dance and occasional Irish language classes in the New York area. Her writing has appeared in The Irish Times, Irish America magazine, Irish Echo, Irish Examiner, Set Dancing News, Glór Achadh Mór, and the literary websites Ducts.org and Mr. Beller’s Neighborhood. She was Writer in Residence at Heinrich Böll cottage, Achill, County Mayo, Ireland (November 2009).
